Example of a business project:
The main project objective “Becoming the market leader of product 1” it is achievable as long as the market is approached proactively by implementing an efficient system. A proactive approach means three things: 1. “Attacking” the market with motivated sales agents; 2. Participating at national exhibitions; 3. An actively internet presence by paid advertising campaigns.
Therefore a better efficiency in business management is achieved by dividing Romania in 10 regions (according with Annex 2). In each region the responsibility will be handled by a Sales Agent until 13.Aug.2012, when the sales management activity will be expanded and the coordination activity goes to the Regional Sales Manager (on which sales agents could candidate). Thus the sales agents will have the responsibility to identify and tendering the regional dealers and also, to proactively contact all the major companies as well as big industrial parks which uses material handling equipments.
The development of the sales management activity is divided in 3 stages:
1. Starting the activity with six sales agents (one in each region), 1 Country Manager Assistant, 1 Marketing Specialist and 2 Technical Specialists. The activity will start on 13.Feb.2012, even if the personnel structure is not filled (the minimum will consist in 3 sales agents, 1 Country Manager Assistant, 1 Marketing Specialist, 1 Technical Specialist), because we target the participation at CONSTRUCT EXPO 29.Mar-01.Apr.2012;
2. The second stage will begin at 13.Aug.2012, when to those 6 regional Sales Agents posts another six posts will be added by creating the Regional Sales Manager post with responsibilities of regional coordination and sales management, where the Sales Agents will have the opportunity to advance in their careers becoming Regional Sales Managers for their regions.
3. The third stage, consolidate the regional position by establishing regional offices with showroom which offers the possibility of sales presentations. Offices will be developed in each of the 9 regions (except Bucharest-Ilfov). Technically, we prepare the stage for 2013, as at its ending the 35% market share will be exceed and Company 1 becomes the market leader in Romania.
One of the main objectives of the project is to participate at five national exhibitions until the end of 2012 and for this, each Sales Agent will have the task to identify regional exhibitions which has the greatest potential for advertising and increases the sales volume. The activity of identifying the best of the offers will be coordinated by the Country Manager and sustained both by Country Manager Assistant and Marketing Specialist. Activities in which is targeted a better transformation of exhibition participations in to profit is described and detailed in the project content.
The presence on the internet by sustained paid advertising campaigns has the purpose to raise the notoriety of the Company 1 brand, as well as promoting the business in online by converting a larger number of visits in to firm contracts.
